900+ male and female riders
30 floats
35 marching bands
King and Queen
!BONANZA! This krewe throws the most diverse collectibles including wooden and adonized doubloons, squirt toilets, the throne medallion (seen at left), beanbags, megaphones, and squeaky Tucks figures.
The signature float for this krewe is the
Toilet float, which towers above the crowds.
Named for both a character in the Robin Hood fable and a now-defunct Uptown New Orleans pub, the Krewe of Tucks was formed in 1969 by a group of Loyola students determined to put the irreverance back into the celebrations.  In past parades, the Krewe of Tucks has taken many good-natured jabs at local and state politics, and current events.
This krewe shares an Ancient Briton theme This krewe shares a medieval Briton theme with the krewes of ExcaliburKing Arthur, and Ancient Druids.
